**OT Reception: Roles and Responsibilities**

**Pre -Surgery Phase Activity -**

1. Co-ordinating with Surgeons, Billing Staff and TPA staff to ensure that the financial clearance is ensured for each patient

2. PAC-Pre-Anesthesia Check Up: Coordinating with Patient and Anesthetist for PAC, managing each patient billing, documentation, PAC documents mailing to MRD of respective patient.

3. Co-ordinating the OT slot booking booking process and ensure that the OT List prepared and communicated to following by 6pm of previous day - To Surgeon, To Anesthetist, Billing, Administration, Pharmacy, CSSD, OT Store, Nursing Administration, All Nursing Units, OT

4. Run readiness check for the day surgery prior to first surgery for the day

5. Cataract Surgery - Billing, Documentation, Coordinating between Ophthalmologist and Patient. Preparing Discharge Summary in saved templates according to patient OT notes.

6. Guiding patients and their relative to IP services /Admission Desk for financial clearance.

7. Coordination between patients and Dr RVP team for Dr Roy Sir OPD appointment at OT

8. Coordinating with patients’ relatives time to time for any instructions.

9. Preparing Attendant Certificate.

**Surgery Phase Activity -**

1. Oversee the coordination of the patients transfer and handovers from Ward, ICU to OT as per the surgery schedules; while addressing needs of emergency posting and ensuring minimum waiting time for patients’ post-handover with in the OT

2. Ensure the ore operative protocol and checklist of each patient.

3. Preparing and Making Minor Day Care Surgery Billing in HIMS

**Post-Surgery Phase**:
1. Ensure timely transfer out and handover of the patients to respective Ward/ICU.

2. Adding details and preparing Implant Certificate through Saved Templates and Handover the same to patient after appropriate signatory and authentication.

3. Sending Histopath Samples to respective Histopath laboratory. Preparation of histopathology request form. Do Histopath Billing. Collecting Histopath Reports and Handling over to Patient/Patient Relative. Handing over Old Histopath Report to MRD.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
