- We are looking for professionals who would be required to handle queries from team members on real estate and personal property taxes, process Real Estate Tax / Personal Property Tax payment to landlord and jurisdictions. Prepare journals, accruals & reconciliation for property taxes. Contact landlord and jurisdictions for clarifications, bills and confirmations. Verify status of bills, communicate status to internal and external partners_
- Responsibilities_
- _Perform transaction processing - To process RE Tax & Personal Property Tax invoices and Landlord Reimbursements, perform QC on the activities performed by the team_
- _Good document reading and understanding/analytical ability - review bills and interpret, assess amounts claimed by landlords / jurisdictions_
- _Good Accounting Knowledge tax
- prepare journal, reconciliations and other reports for property_
- _Ensure process audit requests & Adhoc queries are addressed appropriately_
- _Enforce to Compliance guidelines and ensure to meet process critical metrics & CPIs._
- _Tech Savvy - Need to search and download bills from jurisdiction websites, search details of properties on internet and assess_
- Qualifications_
- Minimum qualifications:_
- _Bachelor of commerce / Master of commerce / Master of Business Administration_
- _Good in Excel - Need to maintain trackers for each activity and reporting on status update_
- _Excellent interpersonal skills with attention to details_
- Preferred Qualification_
- _Exposure to US Taxation (Personal & Real Estate Tax) will be an added advantage_
