Ro Plant Operator

**Responsibilities**:
- Operate and monitor the (RO) water treatment plant used in the refinery process.
- Maintain continuous supply of treated water for boiler, cooling tower, and other refinery operations.
- Check pressure, flow, pH, TDS, and water quality parameters regularly.
- Perform start-up, shutdown, and routine operations of RO plant and associated equipment.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and minor repairs of RO membranes, pumps, filters, and pipelines.
- Backwash and clean filters as per schedule.
- Ensure chemical dosing (antiscalant, chlorine, etc.) is done correctly.
- Maintain logbooks, daily water test records, and plant performance reports.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to avoid downtime.
- Follow refinery safety procedures, housekeeping, and quality standards.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or relevant trade.
- Experience operating RO Plant, preferably in edible oil refinery / food industry / water treatment plant.
- Knowledge of RO membranes, high-pressure pumps, dosing systems, and water treatment chemistry.
- Ability to use water testing kits and instruments (pH meter, TDS meter, conductivity meter).
- Good troubleshooting skills in case of leakage, scaling, fouling, or pressure drop.
- Basic computer knowledge for record keeping.
- Strong awareness of hygiene and food safety standards.
