**Position Title**: Accounting Faculty
**Location**: Ambala City
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- **Teaching**: Develop and deliver high-quality courses in accounting, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, and taxation, for undergraduate and graduate students.
- **Curriculum Development**: Collaborate with faculty to enhance the curriculum, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and incorporates current accounting practices.
- **Research**: Engage in scholarly research in accounting or related fields, publish findings in academic journals, and present at professional conferences.
- **Student Mentorship**: Provide academic advising and career guidance to students, helping them navigate their educational and professional paths.
- **Professional Development**: Stay current with developments in the accounting profession, including changes in regulations and technology, and integrate this knowledge into teaching and curriculum.
- **Service**: Participate in departmental committees, community outreach, and service activities that promote the accounting program and enhance student experiences.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Ph.D. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred); a Master’s degree with significant professional experience may also be considered.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level and a strong background in accounting practice or research.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and understanding of relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students in learning.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with online or hybrid teaching methods.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are highly desirable.
- Experience in curriculum design and assessment practices.
