**The Role**: Associate Scrum Master / Scrum Master

**The Impact**: The Scrum Master position at S&P Global within Finance Technology works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of customer value using the Scaled Agile Framework. The Scrum Master contributes significantly to their team’s success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on predefined business priorities. **Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long term value to our customers.

Act as Servant leader to an Agile team.

Facilitate Scrum events including, Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiencies and performance from Scaled Agile practices and values.

Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement.

Guide the Agile team to consistently delivery customer value.

Protect the team from outside influence.

Ensure Development team understands and maintains commitment to the Definition of Done (DoD).

Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams.

Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.

Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency.

Enforce attention to detail in system usage to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Work with peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Coaches to increase the effectiveness of Scaled Agile across Finance Technology.

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Basic Qualification**:
Clear understanding of Agile/Scrum theory and practice

Technical knowledge on Oracle Finance Systems will be a plus

Experience with Azure DevOps project management tools and implementation of best practices in Agile tools and workflows

Experience leading teams as a Scrum Master

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and proven effectiveness in driving team performance

Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Confidence in leadership to educate and instill Agile practices

Strong sense of urgency

Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks

Previous experience working in a SCRUM or Agile environment preferred

**Preferred Qualifications**:
CSM or PSM-1 Certification

Certified SAFe Scrum Master or A-SCM Certification

Hands-on experience in different Finance modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM)

Good understanding of Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies

Certification in Oracle will be an added advantage
