**Role**: Valve Service Technician

**Location** : Padi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

**Qualification** : Diploma/Graduates

**Experience**: Minimum 5 to 7 Years

**Salary** : 22k to 30k per month

**6 days of working / Day Shift**

**Job Summary**:
The Valve Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, and testing of various types of industrial valves. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance on valves, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety standards. The technician will work with equipment in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, and water treatment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect, dismantle, and repair different types of valves including control valves, safety valves, relief valves, ball valves, gate valves, etc.
- Perform preventive maintenance, such as lubrication, tightening, or cleaning of valves.
- Calibrate valves to ensure they function according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct tests on valves using specialized equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Interpret valve schematics and technical documentation to troubleshoot valve-related issues.
- Install and commission new valves or retrofits in industrial facilities.
- Work with other maintenance and engineering teams to ensure seamless operation of systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and testing.
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Train junior technicians or provide guidance as needed.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of various types of valves and their components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic and testing equipment for valve operations.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work in industrial environments, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and various chemicals.
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and tools as needed.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights, if required.

**Working Conditions**:

- May be required to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
