**Job Title**: Credit Life Officer

**Location**: Kayamkulam

**Department**: Insurance / Life Insurance Division
**Reports To**: Branch Manager / Regional Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales and Business Development**:

- Promote credit life insurance products to banks, NBFCs (Non-Banking Financial Companies), and financial institutions.
- Identify and build relationships with potential clients to expand the customer base.
- Achieve assigned sales targets by generating leads and closing deals.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Work closely with lenders to integrate credit life insurance with their loan offerings.
- Provide training to the lending institutions’ staff on product benefits and processes.
- Address customer queries and concerns regarding policy terms and coverage.
- **Policy Management**:

- Ensure proper documentation and compliance during the issuance of policies.
- Oversee the timely collection of premiums and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor the claims process to ensure quick and efficient settlement.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:

- Gather insights on competitor products and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to the product development team for designing new products or improving existing ones.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:

- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance and market activities for senior management.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
- MBA or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
- **Professional Skills**:

- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- **Experience**:

- 1-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.
- Familiarity with credit-linked insurance products and processes.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Analytical mindset for market and customer insights.
- Team player with good problem-solving skills.

**Career Path**:

- Progression to senior roles such as **Senior Credit Life Officer**, **Area Sales Manager**, or **Regional Sales Manager**.
