Industrial Electrician - Cashew Processing Unit

**Reporting To**:
Maintenance Supervisor / Factory Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Electrical Maintenance & Repair**
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in machines such as boilers, cookers, shelling machines, dryers, grading machines, and sorters.
- Maintain lighting, wiring, motor panels, and control systems.

2. **Machine Installation**
- Support installation and electrical setup of new processing machinery and conveyor systems.
- Ensure proper grounding and power ratings as per machine requirement.

3. **Troubleshooting**
- Quickly respond to machine breakdowns or electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Use testing devices (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.) to identify faults.

4. **Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure all electrical work is done in compliance with safety standards (e.g., IS, IEC).
- Keep all equipment earthed and insulated properly.
- Regularly inspect wiring, control panels, and breaker systems.

5. **Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain logbooks for maintenance activities.
- Record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and fault history.

6. **Coordination**
- Work closely with production, mechanical maintenance, and quality teams.
- Assist in energy audits and electrical system upgrades.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a food or cashew processing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of motors, starters, VFDs, and PLC basics is desirable.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and control schematics.
- Understanding of safety standards and PPE usage.
- Team player with quick decision-making ability.

**Work Schedule**:
Full-time - Rotational Shifts (as per plant operations)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,500.00 per month
