**Duties and Responsibilities Front office assistant**
**1. Guest Services**
- Warmly welcome guests and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with special requests such as transportation, wake-up calls, and luggage handling.
- Address guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering personalized service.
**2. Front Desk & Reservations Management**
- Maintain an up-to-date record of room availability, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Process walk-in reservations and handle last-minute changes or cancellations.
- Maintain proper documentation, including guest IDs and registration records.
**3. Billing & Cash Handling**
- Process payments through cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payment methods.
- Generate invoices and provide receipts to guests.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and daily cash reports.
**4. Coordination with Housekeeping & Maintenance**
- Communicate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for new guests.
- Report maintenance issues such as plumbing, electrical, or room damages to the appropriate department.
- Ensure the reception area and common spaces are clean and welcoming.
**5. Administrative & Operational Tasks**
- Maintain guest records and compile daily reports on occupancy and revenue.
- Manage office supplies, brochures, and front desk inventory.
- Assist in preparing reports for management regarding guest feedback and operational performance.
**6. Security & Compliance**
- Ensure guest information is handled securely and confidentially.
- Monitor hotel premises for security and report any suspicious activity.
- Follow emergency procedures in case of fire, medical incidents, or security threats.
- Adhere to hotel policies and local regulations regarding guest safety and hospitality standards.
**Skills & Qualifications Required**:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel booking software
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
Customer service-oriented mindset
Attention to detail and organizational skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
