Key responsibilities of a GEM Tender Executive: - **Tender identification and analysis**:Actively search and identify relevant government tenders on the Gem portal, thoroughly reviewing tender documents to understand requirements, eligibility criteria, and submission deadlines. - **Bid preparation**:Create comprehensive bid proposals by compiling technical and commercial information, pricing details, and necessary documentation to meet tender specifications. - **Vendor registration and management**:Maintain accurate vendor profiles on the Gem platform, including product listings, certifications, and necessary documents to ensure eligibility for bidding. - **Tender submission**:Electronically submit bids on the GeM portal within the specified time frames, ensuring accurate document upload and submission. - **Tender tracking**:Monitor the status of submitted tenders, follow up with government agencies regarding bid evaluations, and address any queries raised. - **Price negotiation**:Participate in price negotiation rounds with government buyers when required, aiming to achieve optimal pricing while maintaining profitability.
