**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the administration of database systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Experience in designing relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.).
- Experience in database management (install, config, maintain, finetune, monitor).
- Experience with Cloud databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB, multi-cloud).
- Experience with event services (Kafka)
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations and procedures.
- Conduct regular database backups and recovery tests to ensure data integrity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of database practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management and optimization.
- Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in DB Administration with a focus on high availability and reliability.
- Demonstrate expertise in DB Performance Optimization to enhance system efficiency.
- Have extensive experience in Data Modelling to support robust data architectures.
- Show proficiency in managing Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora databases.
- Exhibit strong SQL skills for developing queries and procedures.
- Have a good understanding of data security and compliance standards.
- Experience in the Electronic Payments domain is a plus.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Be able to provide technical support and guidance to team members.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in database management and optimization.
