Raw Material Purchase- Executive

**Key Responsibilities: Raw material purchase**
- Supplier Identification and Management:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of raw materials based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions to optimize procurement costs.
- Conduct regular supplier evaluations to monitor performance and address any issues or concerns.
- Procurement and Contract Negotiation:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure a reliable supply of raw materials at competitive prices.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and payment conditions.
- Inventory Management:

- Monitor and analyze inventory levels of raw materials to ensure availability for production while minimizing excess stock and cost.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Implement inventory control measures, such as reorder points, safety stock levels, and inventory reconciliation.
- Quality Control and Compliance:

- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that raw materials meet the required specifications and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits of suppliers and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements related to raw material procurement.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supplier performance, market trends, and pricing to support informed decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities, cost savings, and inventory management for management review.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in raw material procurement, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory requirements in the cosmetics industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
