**iTS Technical Capability**

iTS provides medium to large scale solution hosting at our Data Centres in Belfast, in addition to the support of over 40 developers and testers in Belfast and Chennai. iTS also works with IT Assist on the configuration, rollout, and support of solutions for the local NI government. Most of the existing hardware is Windows based with a diverse range of infrastructure and security measures to support this.

ITS is looking for an IT Desktop Support Specialist who will be a key part of the IT team. Some of the responsibilities include:

- Experience with Network monitoring and alerting tools (MRTG, PRTG, Cacti, Observium, Orion)
- Experience using support ticketing systems
- Ability to troubleshoot DNS connectivity issues.
- Support of Windows OS/Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365 in an enterprise environment with direct interactions with the end user.
- Preferred Industry Certifications - CompTIA; Microsoft, Cisco, DELL, Etc. (Comp TIA or MS A++ but not required)
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
- Desktop and Network Support
- Network printer setup
- Ability to setup, configure and install hardware/software as it relates to IT support.
- Ability to administrate Active Directory (Level 1-2).
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups within Active Directory, VOIP phone and other key systems.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Trains End-Users, identifies, analyzes, and repairs systems, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Imaging and image recovery
- Mobile device support both Apple and Android.
- Experience doing break / fix repairs on desktops, laptops
- Install / Re-install various software packages and updates
- WiFi and VPN connections; Support of wireless devices
