Techinician

**Job Role Summary**:
A Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment or machinery at customer sites or in the workshop. The role demands strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and quality service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation & Commissioning**:

- Install and commission machines, equipment, or systems at client locations.
- Perform regular preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults.
- Replace faulty parts and carry out necessary adjustments.
- Install air compressors, dryers, filters, and piping systems at client sites.
- Ensure correct alignment, electrical connection, and testing during installation.
- Commission the unit and hand it over to the client with a functional demo.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (oil change, filter replacement, cleaning).
- Inspect compressor components like motor, belts, hoses, valves, etc.
- Maintain service logs and checklist during maintenance visits.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites.
- Knowledge of reciprocating and screw-type air compressors.
- Understanding of electrical controls, motors, pressure settings.
