Bakery and Confectionery Chef

Prepare and bake a wide range of bakery and confectionery products including breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, chocolates, and desserts.
- Develop and test new recipes, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Oversee daily production and manage baking schedules to meet customer or service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the baking area
- Order, manage, and monitor inventory of baking ingredients and tools.
- Train and supervise junior bakers or kitchen staff when required.
- Ensure that all items are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Collaborate with the culinary or management team to create seasonal or promotional dessert menus.
- Handle customer orders, customization requests, and feedback professionally if working in a retail environment.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or certification in Bakery, Patisserie, Culinary Arts, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or Confectioner in a professional kitchen.
- Expertise in baking techniques, chocolate work, sugar art, and dessert plating.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
