**Job Role**:
We are looking to hire a manufacturing/production team member who would be responsible for all matters related to effectively managing product sourcing for Company. The role involves the primary responsibility of working closely with Indian manufacturers for maintaining positive relationships while negotiating specs, pricing, and deadlines. This role provides a unique opportunity to manage supplier relationships and work in collaboration with the design team to anticipate production needs while collaborating with vendors and educating those suppliers to improve the fabric quality

**Job Responsibility**:

- You will be responsible for monitoring the stock levels and making plans for buying within budget
- You will be responsible for all the current and future Indian suppliers (and others) for Order management and follow-up, including price & timeline negotiation, PO confirmation, assuring transparent communication between suppliers and internal teams
- You will manage the quality inspection team of the finished garments ensuring both in-person and 3rd party supplier inspection and monitor the sourcing & delivery schedule
- To work with design teams to develop samples in sync with product launches such as photoshoots, launch calendars and inventory flows.
- Setting standards for the high quality of fabric and ensuring timely onboarding of vendors as per the required compliance
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to ensure the right positioning of suppliers in terms of MOQ, costing, and compliance to identify the right manufacturing units

**Requirements (Must Have)**:

- 6+ years of relevant experience in Buying & Merchandising
- Good understanding of the manufacturing processes, and materials and know how to communicate with suppliers for low MOQs
- High understanding of fabric quality under specific GSMs and the after-treatments for a required finish
- Excellent vendor management skills, juggling several vendors and varying product services
- You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as good analytical skills
- Interest in Western Fashion Works independently without a lot of oversight and has a strong work ethic

**Salary**: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
