**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitor products, studying their features and functionalities.
- Utilize design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Pro E to develop detailed product designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and effective communication throughout the design process.
- Create and maintain accurate technical drawings, ensuring the safeguarding of design integrity.
- Prepare and organize product design files and documentation to facilitate efficient collaboration and future reference.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of plastic processing and mold working, contributing valuable insights to optimize product design.
- Adhere to ISO 13485 standards required by the medical device industry, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
- Leverage a high level of organization and ability to work for extended periods on computer-based tasks.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in polymers, mechanical engineering, or design preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Pro E.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the molding industry or designing plastic components/products.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently on computer-based tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with various departments.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and design integrity.
