Technician - Injection Moulding Machine

Supervise and direct all assigned injection molding department personnel.
- Reviews production schedules and work orders and assigns duties to workers according to order priorities.
- Executes daily production tasks and supervises work in accordance with production schedule and achieves production targets.
- Troubleshoot and adjust molding parameters to maintain quality and maximum product output.
- Ensure work is conducted in line, completing all necessary risk assessments and paperwork as required.
- Provide basic training to the machine operators.
- Examines molded products from each machine to verify conformance to specifications.
- Undertake pre-planned maintenance in accordance with the PPM schedule for all injection molding machines.
- Reduce Scrap during color changes and material changes and molding defects (Short Shots, Splay, Color Streaks, etc.)
- Studies quality control reports to identify product defects and directs machine operators to adjust machines to eliminate flaws.
- Respond to problems by performing corrective technical or mechanical solutions.
- Improve and maintain quality and other certifications.
- Documentation related to injection molding.
- Adherence to the health and safety practices.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintain a safe work environment within molding department
- Assisting to manage all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance on all injection molding equipment

**Requirements**:

- May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time (8 Hours)
