**Job Summary**:
A carpenter is responsible for crafting, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures, including but not limited to furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and building frameworks. They work with various tools and materials to complete projects according to specifications and blueprints.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Material Selection**: Select appropriate materials for projects, considering factors such as strength, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
- **Cutting and Shaping**: Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using hand and power tools such as saws, chisels, planes, and sanders.
- **Assembly and Installation**: Assemble and install structures and fixtures according to specifications, including furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, stairs, and frameworks.
- **Repair and Maintenance**: Repair or replace damaged or defective wooden structures and fixtures, including repairing joints, replacing broken parts, and refinishing surfaces.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others, including proper use of tools and equipment, and adherence to regulations regarding hazardous materials.
- **Communication**: Collaborate with clients, architects, and other tradespeople to discuss project requirements, provide progress updates, and address any concerns or changes.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Carpentry Skills**: Proficiency in carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials.
- **Tool Proficiency**: Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- **Attention to Detail**: Precision and accuracy in measuring, cutting, and fitting components to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during construction or installation.
- **Physical Stamina**: Stamina and strength to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, understand project requirements, and provide updates to clients and stakeholders.
- **Time Management**: Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or vocational training is preferred but not always required.
- Previous experience working as a carpenter or in a related field is advantageous.
- Certification or licensure may be required depending on local regulations and the specific nature of the work.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
