The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpentry tools and equipment. This role involves working on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Construction and Installation**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Build and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures such as stairways, door frames, partitions, and rafters.
- **Repair and Maintenance**:

- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
- Repair or replace existing woodwork and fixtures.
- Perform maintenance work on buildings, including both interior and exterior carpentry tasks.
- **Project Planning**:

- Estimate the materials required for the project and prepare material lists.
- Plan the layout and installation of various carpentry components based on blueprints and building codes.
- Coordinate with other workers and subcontractors to complete projects on time.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Certification or licensure as required by state or local regulations.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Strong physical condition and manual dexterity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience as a carpenter or in a related field.
- Experience in (residential,).
