**Cashier Job Description**

**Position Summary**:
A Cashier is responsible for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Issue receipts, or exchanges when authorised
- Maintain accurate cash drawer; count and reconcile at beginning and end of shifts
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Keep checkout areas clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
