**Position Overview**: As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will assist our cybersecurity team in identifying, preventing, and responding to security threats and vulnerabilities across our systems and networks. This role is designed to give you practical exposure to a variety of security operations and help you enhance your technical and analytical skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify risks.
- Help monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity.
- Participate in incident response activities, including identifying and mitigating security threats.
- Support the management of security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot security issues and implement solutions.
- Research emerging security threats and recommend improvements to strengthen defenses.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of cybersecurity documentation and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the cybersecurity team.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (final year of graduation).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and internet protocols.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and frameworks (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, such as encryption, access control, and risk management.
- Familiarity with security certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other related certifications (or in progress).
