**Buyer & Merchandiser**
**Experience**: 5+ years (preferably in Bags or Footwear).
**Location**: Gurugram, Haryana (India).
**Educational Qualification**: Bachelors’/Masters’ Degree in relevant stream.

**Job Description / Responsibilities**:

- Targeting the most relevant selection for our customers, aim at recruiting new vendors and making their selection available on the website.
- Facilitating and maintaining relationships between organisation and vendors / partners, negotiating contracts, controlling costs, creating standards for the vendors, and finding the best available vendors.
- Ensuring all activities, deals and deliverable are undergoing smooth execution.
- Communicate often with Vendors and build partnerships for the long term.
- Liaising closely with customer service or warehouse teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
- Should understand the current / latest trend to coordinate with the vendors for new procurement.
- Monitoring Vendor performance.
- Buying, range selection, option planning, range development, margin delivery and cost negotiations
- Forecast trends and share inputs with design team for range creation
- Placing orders for seasonal requirement to meet critical path for launch and deliver on sales plan, respond to in season variables to address any immediate gap
- Delivering 90 PERCENT product fulfilment for launch while ensuring availability of all key Marketing / window product lines
- Analysing historical performance to be able to support buying decisions
- Reacting to sales Information and working with suppliers to revise production flows and maximize sales.
- Agreeing and reviewing targets for sales, margin, stock, commitment and availability.
- Assisting operating plan review and sharing lessons learnt from product perspective
- Ensuring on time catalogue submission and order placement
- Sharing product inputs for in season / end of season markdown planning
- Working with the supplier for the prompt input of flows to ensure alignment between production and commitment
- Sharing production plans on time to book / manage MSI capacity
- Communicating product information to retail team to allow them in finalizing Women accessories’ layout plans for stores
- Defining pricing architecture as per product strategy
- Maintaining awareness of competitions product offering
- Standardization of internal reports including, but not limited to, catalogue, seasonal presentations, implementing and exploiting new systems and process
- A strong vendor base in India/Globally would be preferred.
- Must have 4+ years of experience in product buying / merchandising in fashion accessories with good Brands / Retailers is desirable.
- Eye for Details to colour scheme & style with knowledge of basics of Photoshop, Illustrator and other designing software.
- Knowledge About ongoing Accessory Trends
- Should be able to complete product development process from seasonal forecast to coordinating with suppliers for the end product.
- Highly adaptable and flexible to changing business environments, ability to work independently.
- Good interpersonal & communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Positive and problem-solving attitude
- Cross functional capabilities

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

- Gurgaon: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
