Role & responsibilities

  • Assist Merchandiser in handling buyers accounts and day-to-day communication.
  • Follow up with vendors, suppliers, and factories for sampling, production, and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for smooth execution of orders.
  • Maintain and update Time & Action (T&A) calendars for all orders.
  • Check and track fabric, trims, and accessories requirements.
  • Monitor sample development and ensure approvals from buyers within deadlines.
  • Prepare costing sheets, order status reports, and assist in price negotiations.
  • Support Merchandiser in handling buyer queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in shipment follow-up and documentation.
  • Maintain records, reports, and data management for merchandising activities.

Preferred requirement and skills

  • Bachelors degree / Diploma in Fashion, Apparel Merchandising, or related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in apparel merchandising.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
