Job Title: EHS Junior Executive

Location: Marol, Mumbai

Department: Environmental, Health, and Safety

Reports To: Co-Founder and CEO

Job Summary: The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs and policies to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. This role involves monitoring and assessing workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure the company complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.

Stay current with state, and local EHS regulations and adjust policies and practices as needed.

Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory agencies.

Program Development:
Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure safety.

Design and conduct training programs for employees on EHS procedures and best practices.

Risk Assessment and Management:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of workplace conditions to identify hazards and assess risks.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions.

Manage incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.

Safety Culture Promotion:
Foster a culture of safety within the organization by promoting safety awareness and engagement among employees.

Serve as a resource for employees regarding EHS concerns and questions.

Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.

Coordinate with local emergency services and agencies as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and regulatory compliance.

Prepare and present reports on EHS performance and initiatives to management.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving EHS programs and practices.

Implement best practices and stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management or a related role, preferably in a similar industry.

**Skills**:Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹258,061.09 - ₹316,634.77 per year
