**CLIENT : ENGINEERING**

**POSITION: EHS OFFICER**

Salary Range: 25000 in Hand (On Company Payroll)

Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 6pm

Job Location: NERAL, KARJAT

**Role & responsibilities**

1. Safety procedures preparation, implementation, training and daily monitoring.

2. Monitoring of Environmental activities.

3. Support the development of OHS policies and programs.

4. Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.).

5. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.

6. Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.

7. Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives.

8. Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).

9. Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.

10. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.

11. Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.

12. Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.

13. Building and facility maintenance.

14. Follow the work permits

**CANDIDATE CRITERIA**

Experience: Min. 3-4 years in same profile

Education: Any Graduate OR Diploma in Industrial Safety

**OTHER CRITERIA**

Good Time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of MS Office, ERP
