IT System Administrator

_**Job Title: IT System Administrator with IT Services**_
- **Requirements: Night Shift (Mon-Sat)**_

**Job Summary**:The IT System Administrator will support the Head of IT and the wider IT team

in their role of developing and maintaining the desktops, servers & network systems throughout

the organization. The IT System Administrator will also work with the wider team in a

collaborative way to extend the skills of the multifunctional team.

**About the role**: There are approximately 50 users of IT systems within MCAREPRO. Major

IN development.
- Local Area Networks are established at our sites which use Internet broadband to connect
- to VPN services and use VoIP telephony services
- To install and configure computer hardware, networks, operating systems, and
- To monitor and maintain computer systems and networks including Voice over IP VOIP)
- telephony, site Internet connections, Tacitine Firewalls, Switches, and CCTV.
- To troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software
- faults, and replace hardware and parts as required.
- To respond to service incidents within the times specified in any Service Level Agreement
- (SLA).
- and providing procedural documentation as required.
- To use remote support tools to manage remote systems and desktops.
- To set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
- To work assiduously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, where
- appropriate).

- To manage backups of all systems ensuring that they run successfully and to manage
- rotation of backups off-site for safe storage.
- To update systems and servers regularly with approved software updates.
- To monitor system & server logs, following up on any security or performance issues.
- To maintain the inventory of hardware and software licenses and telephone contracts.
- To develop and maintain the IT section of the intranet, including good practice and
- troubleshooting guidance.
- To test and evaluate new technology.
- To procure software and parts as instructed by the Head of IT.
- To manage audio-visual equipment at meetings, conferences, or training, and to manage
- audio-visual resources.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in line with current security procedures.
- To work flexibly - recognizing that many duties require to be undertaken outside of
- normal working hours to minimize disruption to end-users.
- To carry out any other reasonable request within the capability of the jobholder.

**Person Specification**:

- A thorough understanding of Computer systems and software particularly Microsoft
- Windows 10.
- Windows Server administration especially 2012/2016 & Linux Ubuntu
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP, LANs, and WANs.
- A sound knowledge of computer hardware, diagnostics, and VOIP.
- A thorough understanding of building and deploying laptop and desktop PCs using a standard image.
- Full awareness of IT security standards and policies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
