**Job Title: Occupational Therapist**

**ACCOMMODATION WILL BE PROVIDED**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Assessment**: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, as well as their home and work environments.
- **Treatment Planning**: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- **Therapeutic Interventions**: Provide hands-on therapy and instruction in activities of daily living, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices to improve functional abilities.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients and their families/caregivers about the therapeutic process, home exercise programs, and strategies for maintaining progress.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- **Interdisciplinary Collaboration**: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- **Professional Development**: Stay current on best practices, emerging research, and advancements in the field of occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous clinical experience in occupational therapy preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
