Overview:
SSOE Group is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team in Mumbai. This position will support both small and large-scale industrial projects using Plant3D or 2D AutoCad to provide value-based design for our world-class clients. As a part of an international design firm and working with a USA based team, you will have the unique opportunity to work on US based projects and communicate regularly with international colleagues.

**Responsibilities**:
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Create new or update existing P&IDs as directed by engineer or design lead.
- Support deliverable creation activities such as annotating piping plans, sections, details as required by specific project.
- Model equipment using 3D modeling software.
- Resolve issues, coordinate / communicate with a multi-discipline design team.
- Learn new technology as needed.

Qualifications:

- **Mechanical** / **Piping** Diploma course and upto 4 years of experience.
- Experience using **AutoCAD** or **Plant3D** for P&ID creation. MicroStation knowledge is not necessary, but desired.
- Solid working knowledge of** P&ID**s.
- Experience with 3D design is a plus. Revit knowledge is not necessary, but desired.
- Attention to detail.
- Fluent in English communication.
- Should be flexible to work in the evening hours to maintain communication with the USA teams.
