Role Summary:
The primary focus of this role is to provide day to day management of general store and warehouse with responsibility for day-to-day stores activity such as Receipt, issue, storage, inventory management, maintain store records etc. This position also requires expertise in man, material handling and a proactive approach to optimizing storage space and well organized.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Warehouse management.
- Have good knowledge of SAP-MM to analyze and monitor material flow.
- Experience in stores management activities such as receipt and issue posting of the materials in SAP.
- Material planning and control activity, Mini-Max, Re-order level, ABC Analysis and Non-moving items control.
- Checking of actual weight/Nos of RM/Other materials received as per weigh bridge/counting.
- Managing the physical loading, unloading, storage and identification and preservation of the stores with proper stock keeping at stores to ensure zero loss.
- Timely goods issue from stores or warehouse on FIFO basis as per material requisition slip.
- Monthly physical stock reconciliation.
- Gate pass for all outgoing items from factory/office/warehouse.
- Maintain safety standards as per company guidelines and impart safety training to workers regularly.
- Ensure 5S at stores and maintain high score in 5S audit external and internal.
- Preparation and timely submission of various MIS as required by Reporting manager and other cross functional HOD.
- Scrap disposal, Hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste and E waste to authorized regulatory agencies.
Role Specific Competencies:
- Excellent leadership quality and man, material management skills.
- Preferably exposure to SAP S4 HANA based working.
- Ability to manage and work with a variety of cross-functional team members.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making and commercially aware.
