**Role Summary**

ConcertAI is a fast-growing healthcare research organization, leading the market in oncology healthcare data analytics. Curators on the ConcertAI Real-World Evidence Science (RWES) team serve as curators who navigate electronic medical record systems and other medical databases; review medical records to determine eligibility, curate medical record data related to disease and treatment; and record medical record data in electronic data entry systems. CRNs work under the general direction of the Lead Clinical Research Nurse for study-related activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Accesses EMR systems or centralized data warehouse for review of medical records.
- Screens for study eligibility using complex custom criteria for protocol-driven projects.
- Curates medical data into electronic data entry systems to include research studies, retrospective, RWE-regulated, and prospective studies.
- Responds promptly to queries issued by the study personnel.
- Review study protocols, electronic data entry systems, and other documents as needed to develop familiarity with study goals and understanding of the CRN role in a study or custom project.
- Uses other resources as needed to gain the knowledge required to perform CRN work on new studies (e.g., related to changes in treatment practice).
- Completes project-related/disease-specific training as assigned.
- Shares medical knowledge and project-specific procedural knowledge with other CRNs as needed.
- Interacts internally with the other Curators, the Clinical Project Management team, training and QC personnel, and other scientific staff regarding ongoing and planned research.
- Works with team to improve the efficiency of work.
- May interact with scientific or medical staff for guidance on medical issues, interpretation of medical record data, and coding decisions.
- Ability to autonomously work with IT and/or curation resource personnel to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Attends staff meetings as scheduled.
- Participates in Study Initiation Training (SIT) for each assigned custom project.
- Participates in peer review and QC activities as requested.
- Other duties, as assigned, include a review of selected medical records to assess the rate of eligibility as part of feasibility work for potential studies, and other medical coding (e.g., classifying drugs, treatments, etc.).
- Maintains a professional approach respecting the dignity and confidentiality of employees, managers, and vendors.
- Maintains a level of curation that is evaluated via quality controls

**Requirements**:

- 1-year clinical experience, or equivalent training and knowledge of clinical practice.
- Oncology experience is strongly preferred
- Research experience preferred
- High attention to detail and highly organized
- Computer experience required including experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and data entry.
- Engagement in formal/informal ongoing training, obtaining and maintaining certifications, licenses, and membership in professional societies is desirable.
- Successfully complete the pre-hire screening requirements.
- Flexible, and able to adapt to rapid changes in workflow
