**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position**

Position Title**:Claims Executive**

Location: Mumbai.

Reporting Manager: HOD - Trust & Safety

We hustle Monday - Friday (1st & 3rd Saturday)

**Industry**:Crowdfunding, Healthcare

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee the processing of claims to ensure the procedure is handled efficiently, accurately.
- Handle in a manner that protects the interests of the insured parties while also providing satisfactory customer service.
- Determining policy coverage and calculating claim amounts.
- Ensure claim settlements, legal reviews and investigations in accordance with regulatory compliances, policies and procedures.
- Review claims submissions, obtain and verify information, correspond with insurance agents and beneficiaries for process of claim payments.
- Communicate with insurance agents and beneficiaries to help in claims forms and related documentation
- Record and maintain insurance policy and claim information in database systems and determine policy coverage while calculating claim amounts
- Respond timely to internal and external inquiries for information relative to claims.

**Professional Experiences**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience to have effectively managed a portfolio of various type of claims.
- Working knowledge of the insurance industry and relevant compliance and regulations.
- Proficient in MS Office
