The **System Administrator** is responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and securing an organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud systems. They ensure high availability, performance, and security while troubleshooting issues and supporting end-users.

**Key Responsibilities1. Server & Network Management**
- Install, configure, and maintain **Windows/Linux servers**.
- Manage **Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)**.
- Monitor **network performance (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers)**.
- Ensure **backup & disaster recovery** solutions are functional.

**2. Security & Compliance**
- Implement **security patches, antivirus, and intrusion detection**.
- Enforce **IT policies (access control, data encryption, MFA, audits)**.
- Respond to **cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches**.
- Maintain compliance with **GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001** (if applicable).

**3. Cloud & Storage Management**
- Administer **Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud** services.
- Manage **SAN/NAS storage, RAID configurations, and data redundancy**.
- Optimize **cloud cost, scalability, and resource allocation**.

**4. User Support & Troubleshooting**
- Resolve **helpdesk tickets (hardware/software issues, access requests)**.
- Set up **workstations, printers, VoIP systems, and mobile devices**.
- Train employees on **security best practices & IT policies**.

**5. Automation & Scripting**
- Automate tasks using **PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible**.
- Deploy **CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG)**.
- Maintain **documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, inventory logs)**.

**Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills**

✔ **OS**: Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
✔ **Networking**: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, Firewalls (Cisco/PFSense)
✔ **Virtualization**: VMware, Hyper-V, Docker
✔ **Cloud**: Azure/AWS (EC2, S3, IAM), Office 365
✔ **Security**: SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Patch Management
✔ **Scripting**: PowerShell/Bash/Python (for automation)

**Soft Skills**

✔ Problem-solving & critical thinking
✔ Strong communication (for user support)
✔ Time management (handling multiple tasks)

**Education & Experience**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- **3+ years** of system admin experience (entry-level roles may require certifications).
- **Certifications (preferred)**:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- CompTIA Server+ / Network+
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- ITIL Foundation (for process management)

**Work Environment**
- **On-call availability** for emergencies.
- Hybrid/remote options (varies by company).
- Collaboration with **DevOps, Security, and Helpdesk teams**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
