**Job Overview**:
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Become familiar with Project Scope of Work, specifications, schedule, and inter-discipline requirements, including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issue.
- Identify changes to scope and promptly notify the of Requisition Engineer.
- Capture Lessons learned and enter them in McDermott System
- Attend Design Review meetings.
- Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with McDermott requirements, Client and Statutory Design Codes, Standards or Procedures with particular focus on Health and Safety Policies.
- Uses communication skills to exchange ideas and information effectively.
- Expands skills and knowledge via performing a variety of activities and maintaining appropriate licenses, training and /or certificates as needed.

**Essential Qualifications & Education**:

- High School graduate with a diploma in Mechanical Design or Drafting in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 3 years min with major contractor or consultant
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Familiar with associated local regulatory environment and international and national industry standards and specifications.
- Knowledge of Navisworks/Smart plant review Software.
- Eager to learn.
- Good command over English language, both oral and written.
- HSE, TQM and cost conscious.
- Show flexibility and ensure proper hand-over with regards to:

- The reassignment to other departments, construction sites and fabrication yards.
- The replacement of colleagues during illness and holidays.
- The provision of assistance to other colleagues with heavy workload (also other projects) when possible/desirable.
- Is familiar with the use of latest edition codes and standards.
