**SECTION II: JOB SUMMARY**
- The Instrumentation Design Draughtsman will be responsible for creating and updating detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts related to instrumentation systems for EPC projects. This role involves working closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to project requirements and standards.

**SECTION**III**: DO - KEY ACTIVITIES**AND** RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**

**Drafting & Design**
- Prepare detailed instrumentation drawings such as P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and hook-up drawings.- Develop and update instrument location plans, cable routing layouts, and termination details.

**Collaboration & Software Utilization**
- Work closely with instrumentation engineers and project teams to understand design requirements.- Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings promptly.- Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Micro Station, or Smart Plant) for design and drafting.- Work with 3D modelling tools when required to develop comprehensive layouts.

**Standards & Compliance**
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC) and client specifications.- Verify compliance with safety and quality standards during design.

**Material & Quantity Estimation**
- Assist in preparing material take-offs and bill of materials based on drawings.

**Documentation & Revision Control**
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions as per project protocols.- Manage and update drawing archives and ensure accurate version control.

- 3+ years of experience as a draughtsman in the instrumentation domain, preferably within EPC projects.

**Technical Skills**

**E.g. 3+ yrs of experience as a senior Engineer in infrastructure company**
