- Responsible for preparing all design related drawings as required for execution of fresh and running projects

**SECTION II: JOB SUMMARY**
- Responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics based on project specifications and requirements. They will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technical personnel to ensure the accurate development of technical documentation for mechanical systems in EPC projects.

**Drafting & Design**
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and layouts for equipment, systems, and structures.- Convert rough sketches and engineering concepts into technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.- Assist in creating and maintaining a design database for documentation and version control.

**Collaboration & Coordination**
- Work closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure accuracy in designs.- Participate in design review meetings and contribute to identifying potential design issues.- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Electrical, Civil) to integrate multidisciplinary designs effectively.

**Quality & Compliance**
- Ensure drawings and designs adhere to applicable codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.- Perform revisions and modifications to designs as required by project feedback.- Conduct quality checks to ensure that all drawings are complete, accurate, and consistent with the project’s objectives.

**Project Support**
- Prepare as-built drawings and support the commissioning and installation process.- Provide technical support for construction teams during the installation of mechanical systems.- Update drawings and designs as needed to reflect changes on-site.

**Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.- Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of ongoing projects.

**Measurable Deliverables**
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Draughtsman in an EPC environment or related industry.- Experience in mechanical drafting and design for industrial, construction, or manufacturing projects.- Familiarity with mechanical systems, equipment, and installations.

**Technical Skills**

**Specific Experience**
- Knowledge of 3D modelling tools (Revit, Inventor, etc.).- Familiarity with international mechanical standards and codes (ASME, ISO).- Experience in industrial projects such as water projects, power plants, or construction.- Assist in selecting materials, components, and equipment for the mechanical systems being designed.- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist procurement in material sourcing.
