Position: Merchandiser

Industry: Home Furnishing

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years (specific experience working with US buyers)

Location: Gurgaon

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Buyer Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for US buyers.

Understand buyer requirements, provide updates, and maintain strong professional relationships.

2. Product Development:
Develop and propose new designs based on buyer preferences and market trends.

Coordinate with design teams to finalize samples and prototypes.

3. Order Management:
Manage and process purchase orders from inception to delivery.

Ensure timelines, quality, and buyer expectations are met.

4. Vendor Management:
Coordinate with vendors and factories to ensure the quality of products and timely shipments.

Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production schedules.

5. Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality checks at various stages of production.

Ensure adherence to buyer specifications and industry standards.

6. Logistics and Shipment:
Coordinate with logistics partners to manage shipments to the US.

Prepare and maintain export documentation as per buyer requirements.

7. Market Trends and Analysis:
Stay updated on market trends, competitive products, and innovations in the home furnishing industry.

Provide insights to the team for continuous improvement.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Strong understanding of home furnishing products (e.g., têxtiles, décor, furniture).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant ERP systems.
- Knowledge of US market trends and buyer preferences.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Fashion, or related fields.
- Experience working with US buyers or export houses specializing in home furnishings.
- Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
