**_Position Purpose:

This job being a part of our crucial support function, the person in the role is responsible for fulfilling company’s supply needs & requirements on a regular basis by procuring high quality and cost efficient supplies. The person is also responsible for servicing demand for all our stores by ensuring all indents are serviced & delivered efficiently with a focus on “On Time in Full” - leading to facilitating stores staff to provide superior customer service thereby resulting into higher customer savings. The person in role is also responsible for evaluating and researching potential vendors and get them registered in our system. For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research for the purpose of ensuring that Generic medicine range is enhanced regularly as per organization goals.

At Dawaa Dost ( a fast growing Pharmacy Retail Chain), we are looking for a self disciplined and cost conscious person with high customer orientation to act as a strong support to all our stores.. Our mission is to Reach & Enable 100MM people to reduce their medicine bill by 50-80% and this role will play an important part in achieving company’s business goals and objectives aligned to our vision. Joining the purchase department, you will be a part of a professional organization heading towards an ambitious growth journey.

We are expecting you to be a highly competent person with solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes and policies - with a high self drive & ownership, a strong process orientation and a strong customer obsession to act as a strong support to store staff and its operations.

**_ Duties & Responsibilities:

- Follow procurement processes as per set guidelines
- Ensuring promptness and accuracy in procurements
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors / suppliers
- Evaluate potential vendors, negotiate and get them registered as per set process.
- Regularly do market research ensuring generic medicines range is enhanced from time to time.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Liaising with new vendors and negotiate for the best deals whenever required
- Ensure that the products and supplies are of high quality and as per set standards.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Work with internal team members ensuring speed and accuracy and performing other duties.
