**About the role**:
As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for purchase of materials and managing vendor relationships enabling smooth and timely functioning of the production process.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Read drawings and understand the various components required to produce furniture.
- Organise and manage a huge library of catalogues and price lists.
- Organise and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) for day to day orders.
- Send out Requests for Quotes (RFQs) to suppliers and get comparative quotes.
- Negotiate with suppliers and finalise the Proforma Invoices (PIs) with full understanding of item details, pricing, HSN codes, corresponding taxes, delivery timelines, and payment terms and ensure correctness of data.
- Prepare and send out Purchase Orders (POs) to the respective suppliers for the selected items within specified SLA.
- Manage all POs and track the arrival of materials from various suppliers.
- Coordinate with various internal teams to validate and update on deliveries and payments.
- Own the end-to-end process of the purchase process.
- Timely address the customer, vendor and internal teams escalations and contribute towards a better customer experience.

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of work-experience in procurement/purchase roles in the interiors/furniture industry.
- Knowledge of materials in the interiors/furniture industry. Willingness to learn about new materials.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of ownership and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheet is a must.
- Good written and verbal communication skills - English.
- Willing to work 6 days a week.
- Willing to work in a fast paced environment.
