There is a huge thirst from decision makers across the business to use data, and insights derived from analysis, to drive better commercial decisions. Working closely with stakeholders to deliver key dashboards and insights for their KPIs to support business decision making.
- **Role Overview - Associate, Improvement & Business Intelligence**
We are looking for an individual excited to work with all things data related, have ability to automate reporting process and creativity in dashboard development. The professional will have an eye for detail, analyse/interpret data, solution identification and collaborating with key stakeholders for reporting in a timely manner.-
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Main Purpose and Scope
- Assist with the creation and evolution of departmental reporting - operational, productivity and financial
- Developing, running and distribution of rhythmic and adhoc reports
- Integrating data/metrics from multiple systems and datasources
- Help maintain data quality by running reports
- Creation of Tableau and PowerPoint reporting presentations for key stakeholders - Line Management, Geographic owners and Senior Leadership
- Communicate and following up with appropriate parties to resolve issues identified
- Looking for opportunities to simplify and automate reporting where possible for efficiencies and supporting roll out of new technologies
- Support SHL, GCSC Depts enthusiastically at every opportunity, take ownership of enquiries and to support through resolution
- Main responsibilities
- Reporting
- Utilising MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Tableau to produce regular (and adhoc) KPI reports; identify key takeaways, quick wins, influencers, data interpretation/analysis, root causes and solutions
- Automate reporting and processes with the ability to develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reporting in Excel
- Working with multiple systems to provide a holistic view
- Quality Assurance checks for integrity and accuracy of data and KPI reporting
- Present findings & identify best practice, liaising with Line management and SLT
- Working under pressure to meet requests in a deadline-oriented environment
- Maintaining documentation and templates; coordinating periodic revisions
- Contribute to developing and enhancing new operational processes across the team
- Anticipates consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change
- Communicate clearly and effectively to articulate issues and solutions
- Effective project management skills for key project deliveries
- System administration and development
- Ensuring standard processes are adhered to

**Requirements**:
**Experience**
- 1-3+ years of work experience in a professional environment

**Skills**:

- Advanced MS Excel skills with desirable skills in SQL, Python and Excel VBA macro coding
- Tableau dashboard builds
- Comfortable and capable of working with large amounts of data from various sources
- Strong organisational skills, flexible and has an attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a self-directed team, in which you determine your tasks daily in coordination with co-workers rather than having to wait for work to be assigned to you
- Strong customer satisfaction focus
- Strong demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure, deliver quality results and work to tight deadlines
- Strong communications skills to manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Willing to learn new skills to develop themselves and excel further in the work they do
- Microsoft Office skills
