**Job Summary**:
The Healthcare Call Center Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, assisting with billing and insurance-related questions, and ensuring effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. This role involves responding to phone calls and maintaining accurate records.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patient Support**:
Receive and manage inbound phone calls from patients, their families, or healthcare providers.

Provide friendly and empathetic assistance, addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and requests.

**Appointment Scheduling**:
Schedule and reschedule patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers' schedules and patient preferences.

Ensure accurate recording of appointment details and reminders.

**Billing and Insurance Assistance**:
Assist patients with billing inquiries, insurance claims, and payment options.

Verify insurance information, pre-authorizations, and claims processing.

**Medical Records Management**:
Update and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Retrieve and transmit medical records as needed.

**Effective Communication**:
Relay messages and information between patients and healthcare providers in a clear and concise manner.

Escalate urgent or critical patient concerns to the appropriate personnel.

**Quality Assurance**:
Adhere to call center quality standards, protocols, and best practices.

Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.

**Documentation and Reporting**:
Record and document call details, patient interactions, and any follow-up actions.

Generate reports and summaries of call center activity as required.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent High school diploma, additional healthcare-related education or certification is a plus.

Prior experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare setting is preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with insurance and billing processes is an advantage.

Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and remain calm under pressure.

Working Conditions:
This position typically involves working in a call center or customer service office within a healthcare organization.

May require working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to provide 24/7 patient support.

The role may involve sitting for extended periods and using computer-based systems and phones.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

- Marathahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer support healthcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Healthcare management: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
