Should have minimum experience of 10 years in field of Industrial safety or any relevant field.
- Should be experienced in implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Must have understanding of Indian safety regulations and standards.
- Should have ability to assess risks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Understanding of Fire and safety engineering would be advantageous.
- Calm and decisive in emergency situations.
- Proactive and attentive to details.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and industry standards.
- Regularly inspect plant site and conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and take corrective and preventive actions to avoid such hazards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations, including waste disposal, pollution prevention, and conservation efforts.
- Provide training and awareness to employees and workers by conducting safety awareness programs and drills.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure overall development of safety first culture.
- Lead and coordinate safety audits and maintain documentation for the same.
- Prepare monthly reports and checklists related to EHS to evaluate performance and effectiveness of safety programs.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all the equipment in the factory.
