**Principal - Pre-Sales Solution Architect**
Support pre-sales activities for a fast-growing, multi-geography business unit within an employee focused, well recognized, fast paced organization. Own the pre-sales function partnering service line leaders in taking their service offerings to the market through well-defined value propositions. Engage and collaborate with sales teams to put together and pitch relevant service/solution presentation, proposals to prospects and customers. Serve as the first line technical expert to the sales (BD and CP) community driving sales enablement sessions periodically. Stay on top of KPIs and metrics of the function reporting into the SVP and global business unit head. Possess at least 10-15 Years of pre-sales expertise with Service Integrator
**What you will do (responsibilities)**
- Work closely yet independently with field sales team to generate/mine opportunities, advance them to qualified leads.
- Lead to customer requests for information on RFIs and RFPs completion
- Qualify opportunities with service line leaders (SLL)
- Work closely and collaboratively with customers to position the solutions and offerings
- Work closely with customers to understand and capture detailed technical requirements
- Ability to covert the business problem/technical requirement into a proposed solution.
- Ensure that the solution can deliver on the customer’s requirements
- Stay on top of industry, technology trends to provide inputs to SLL to stay relevant and ahead of competition
- Maintain credibility through best practices knowledge in sales enablement space such as, but not limited to, analysts, advisors and market demand creation activities
- Maintain trackers for keep track of and continuously improve pre-sales KPIs and throughput
- Provide ongoing support for customers post implementation by collaboration with engagement managers as needed
- Lead sales enablement initiatives to bring field sales up to speed on business unit capabilities and service line offerings
- 10-15% travel may be anticipated
**What we’d like to see in you (qualifications)**
- Well-versed and proficient in the areas of API management, hybrid integration, DevOps, microservices, cloud-native containerized builds and developing cloud-agnostic solutions within a technical pre-sales context
- Must be an experienced technical pre-sales consultant, individual contributor/lead with demonstrable success of meeting pre-sales influence revenue target of up to $10M
- An able thought leader in app dev, QA, product engineering and UI/UX. Self-starter that is motivated to learn and stay abreast with relevant technology trends and new ways of technology consumption and enablement
- Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical customer stakeholders alike
- Industry experience in Hi-tech Healthcare/Life science, Retail/CPG, or BFSI would be ideal
- Must have a sound technical background
- Must be familiar with third party ecosystems for QA, low-code/no-code, APIs and integrations
- Ability to give convincing, effective presentations and demos
- Experience in a broad range of services, solutions and sales
- Ability to put together convincing content (presentations, RFI/RFP responses, demos, executive summary, ROI/business case justifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Computer Science; MBA a plus
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
