**Immediate opening for Database Administration (MS SQL)**

**Experience Required for this job : 6 years**

**Notice period : immediate to 15 days**

**Location : Mumbai**

**Qualification : Any Graduate, with any kind of IT certification will be applicable**
- The day-to-day activities under MS SQL Database Server administration are as listed below.
- Installation Configure Database as per the TPL Application specifications
- Configure DB scheduler, Memory allocation properly to DB
- Database Migrations and Upgrades as per change request Process
- Patch & Service Pack Deployment as per change request Process
- Database Hardening as per TPL Policy, standard policy as per change request process
- Create & Maintain DB User Access with privileges assigned.
- Ensure database backup assuming additional Storage will be available for backup
- Regular gathering of system stats on the objects
- Reorganizing the tables
- Update and maintain CMDB for the database servers
- Troubleshooting the issues
- Coordination with OEM/Vendors
- DB HA configuration and maintenance/ troubleshooting
- Housekeeping activity
- DB user management
- Tablespace management
- Check the availability of databases
- Check database instance status and follow the checklist
- Monitor Alert Logs as part of checklist
- Check Listener status
- Database size and status Report
- Check critical error in database, table-space maintenance
- Check Query performance and creating or rebuilding the Indexes if required case to case basis
- Check the blocking, locks ensue on the database and clearing the holding sessions
- Disk Free Space monitoring
- DB Backup Logs as per checklist
- Monitor system performance and recommend actions for improving the system case to case basis
- Log the call with TPL vendor (DB OEM) for support and coordinating for the same

**Salary**: From ₹900,000.00 per year
