**Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of SQL DBAs to deliver database support effectively.
- Handle major incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and communicate with clients.
- Configure and manage Always ON Availability Groups as well as Failover Clusters.
- Oversee transaction replication, log shipping, and linked server setups.
- Perform database installation, patching, hardening, and migration projects.
- Continuously monitor performance, logs, and database events to prevent downtime.
- Automate administrative tasks and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Mentor L2 DBAs and guide them in troubleshooting critical production issues.

**Must-Have Skills:

- **
- 6-10 years of experience as an MS SQL DBA.
- Expertise in Always ON, Failover Clusters, and high availability configurations.
- Strong ability to handle performance tuning and optimization.
- Solid experience in replication, log shipping, and linked servers.
- Proven team management and leadership in database environments.

- **B**.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Telecommunication (Civil/Mechanical not preferred)**:

**Good-to-Have Skills:

- **
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications.
- Familiarity with banking/financial systems.
- Knowledge of automation tools for DBA tasks.
