Warehouse Executive

**Warehouse Executive ** - **Work Location**: Bangalore, Nearby Jigani Industrial area.

We are Semis Foods Private Limited, a startup in the millets processing industry. We need a warehouse

Executive who can supervise the storage, handling, and distribution of millets and other grains in our facility. You will ensure the quality and safety of our products, manage the inventory and logistics, and lead a team of warehouse staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Receiving and Inspecting**: Receive incoming food products, verify their quantity and quality against purchase orders or invoices, and inspect for any damages or discrepancies. Ensure that products are properly labeled and documented.

2. **Storage and Organization**: Properly store food products in designated areas within the warehouse, considering factors such as temperature requirements, shelf life, and potential cross
- contamination. Organize products to facilitate easy access and efficient inventory management.

3. **Inventory Management**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using computerized systems or manual tracking methods. Regularly conduct stock checks, cycle counts, and audits to identify discrepancies and resolve inventory-related issues.

4. **Picking and Packing**: Fulfill orders by accurately picking the required food products from the inventory shelves. Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation and ensure compliance with customer specifications.

5. **Equipment Operation**: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. Ensure regular maintenance and proper usage of equipment to prevent accidents and disruptions.

6. **Documentation**: Accurately complete documentation related to shipments, inventory adjustments, and any other warehouse activities. Maintain records of receipts, shipments, and inventory movements.

7. **Collaboration**: Coordinate with other warehouse personnel, supervisors, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively to resolve issues, provide updates, and contribute to a cohesive work environment.

9. **Health and Safety**: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), handling hazardous materials properly, and participating in safety training programs.

10. **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes, improve efficiency, and reduce errors. Contribute to discussions about process optimization and implement approved changes.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar role in the food industry, preferably in millets processing.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and software, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Ability to operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Kannada.

**Salary**: 4 Lakhs CTC / Annum

**Experience**: 2-3 Years In warehouse

**Salary**: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
