- **Reports To**: BMS Supervisor / Facilities Manager

**Position Type**: Full-time

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Monitor BMS Systems: Regularly check and monitor the Building Management System for optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, fire alarms, and other building systems.

Data Collection & Reporting: Gather system data, generate reports, and analyze energy usage to ensure operational efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on system faults, alarms, and alerts. Conduct routine maintenance checks.

System Calibration & Adjustments: Adjust settings, calibrate equipment, and fine-tune the systems for efficiency based on occupancy or weather patterns.

Respond to Alarms: Quickly respond to alarms or system failures, ensuring mínimal downtime or disruption.

Log Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate logs for system performance, operational issues, and completed maintenance activities.

Coordinate with Maintenance Teams: Work closely with the mechanical, electrical, and other technical teams to resolve system issues and perform upgrades.

Assist in System Upgrades & Installation: Help with the installation and integration of new devices, sensors, or updates to the BMS software.

Energy Efficiency Optimization: Collaborate with the team to recommend energy-saving opportunities and ensure the BMS is contributing to sustainability goals.

**Qualifications**:
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a BMS Operator or in a similar facilities management role.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Building Management Systems or related field preferred.

**Technical Skills**:
Familiarity with BMS software and platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens).

Basic understanding of HVAC, lighting, fire alarm systems, and other integrated building systems.

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems within building infrastructure.

Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to identify and solve technical issues efficiently.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision, ensuring systems are operating correctly and efficiently.
