**Job Title - **Associate - Senior Backend Developer (Java)

**Location - **Pune**

**Job Description Summary -**

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer for International Private Bank - Wealth Management (Client Experience Tribe). You will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for Deutsche Wealth Online’s (DWO) full software development life cycle from conception until deployment.

As an experienced developer, you should be comfortable in backend coding languages along with related development frameworks and third-party libraries namely Spring and Hibernate/JPA and with an exposure to databases and writing SQL queries. You should also be a team player with an ability to think, analyze, debug problems and find solutions.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Develop microservices in Spring Boot and write effective APIs
- Write SQL queries
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug and fix issues
- Unit testing from a developer’s perspective
- Technical documentation in Confluence
- Preparing release notes for deployment
- Supporting the QA and the DevOps/L2 Support teams
- Mentor junior team members

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Senior backend developer or a similar role
- Knowledge of back-end languages such as Java, Spring Boot, etc.
- JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js (Optional)
- Familiarity with UNIX scripting
- Excellent communication
- Team player
- Great attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- An analytical mind
- Degree in Computer Science or in a relevant field
