**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Interface Analysis and Design**:

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements for interface functionalities.
- Analyse existing systems and workflows to identify interface integration points and data exchange requirements.
- Design interface solutions that adhere to industry standards and best practices, ensuring interoperability and data security.
- **Interface Implementation and Configuration**:

- Develop interface specifications and technical documentation for development teams.
- Configure and customize interface engines or middleware platforms to support data exchange protocols.
- Collaborate with software developers to implement interface components, including data mappings, transformations, and routing rules.
- **Testing and Quality Assurance**:

- Develop and execute test plans to validate interface functionality, performance, and data accuracy.
- Conduct integration testing with internal and external systems to ensure seamless interoperability.
- Identify and troubleshoot interface issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- **Deployment and Maintenance**:

- Coordinate interface deployments and upgrades in collaboration with project managers and system administrators.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed interfaces, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Document interface configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**:

- Engage with internal stakeholders, including product managers, development teams, and quality assurance, to align interface solutions with business objectives and product roadmaps.
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, such as healthcare providers and integration partners, to understand their integration needs and requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Understanding of healthcare standards and protocols, such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and CCD.
- Experience with interface engines or middleware platforms (e.g., AIE, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, etc.) is added advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Healthcare IT certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems, CP-HIMS) are a plus.
