**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Code Review**: Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
- **Database Management**: Develop and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and queries on the AS400 platform using tools such as DB2/400.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an AS400 Developer with expertise in COBOL400 programming.
- In-depth knowledge of AS400 systems, architecture, and components.
- Proficiency in other programming languages commonly used on the AS400 platform, such as RPG, CL, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and experience working with DB2/400.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing, finance, or healthcare industry (preferred).
- AS400 certification (preferred).
